Fourth of July Celebration
Each year, the residents of Eagar and the surrounding communities celebrate the days preceding our nation's birthday with a pancake breakfast, barbeque, rodeo, dance, and fireworks. Want a unique experience, celebrating the American Experience in a way only found in rural America?   Come visit Eagar and celebrate this patriotic event among the cool pines. 

 

white mountain bike tour - July 2008

 This tour has been attracting participants from out of state as well as in-state riders for more than 20 years and has become a favorite ride for many.  The white mountain tour is a 2-day fully supported tour and includes sag support, emergency mechanical support, plenty of good snacks and luggage delivery to your hotel or campsite.  Saturday night's dinner and a raffle ticket are also included in the entry fee.  Cost is $50 for gaba/abc, $55 for non-members.  contact  Jay Stewart at 480.250.1613 or jay.stewart@honeywell.com for more info or go to www.sportsfun.com/gaba/whitemountain.html

 

Eagar Daze
   August 1st & 2nd, 2008

"Celebrating 60 Years"

Started in 1985, Eagar Daze is an annual event held the first Friday and Saturday of August. This event celebrates the communities rich heritage as a logging and ranching community, and features logging events (one of the few remaining logging events in the southwest); Dutch oven Cook-off & Homemade Ice Cream Contests; rodeo events; Golf,  Volleyball, & Horseshoe tournaments; children's activities; local entertainment;  an arts and crafts fair and a dance to top it off on Saturday night! The celebration also features a barbeque, pancake breakfast, games for the children, and a ceremony that acknowledges the Citizen of  the Year. Eagar Daze draws crowds from all over the southwest. Arizona ATV Outlaw Trail Jamboree  
September 2-6,2008
 

The 4th Annual Arizona ATV Outlaw Trail Jamboree kicks off Tuesday,  at the Apache County Rodeo Grounds in Eagar, Arizona.  This year more than 400 people from all over the country are expected to participate in this great event.

On Saturday, , there will be several events and activities open to the public at not cost:
 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Outlaw Trail ATV Expo Open to the Public--lots of ATV related vendors, dealers  and much more!
     10 a.m.--ATV Parade through the streets of Eagar & Springerville
     12 noon--ATV Rodeo starts
      7 p.m. In the rodeo grounds Grandstands-Raffle Drawing for a new 2007 ATV,
         entertainment, and Fireworks Show.
